We will discuss the impact of policies around REDD+, Land Use change and Carbon budgeting which have brought Non Timber Forest Products like Vanilla into a new light.  Using Indonesia as a case study we will show the opportunities for forest based vanilla.

Nicholas Scott worked for 4 years as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Permian Global, a fund that invests in REDD+ projects across the tropics.

Visiting many globally significant areas of biodiversity fueled his desire to improve community engagement in sustainable agriculture and connect them to global food markets.

Therefore, Pollinium's focus is helping the communities to develop NTFPs, such as Vanilla, that encourages the protection and restoration of these important forest ecosystems and the species that inhabit them.
